Obama Calls For National Civilian Stasi

advertisement

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded," Obama told a Colorado Springs audience earlier this month.

Obama speech on civilian security force (youtube video)

"Are we talking about creating a police state here? The U.S. Army alone has nearly 500,000 troops. That doesn't count reserves or National Guard. In 2007, the U.S. Defense budget was $439 billion. Is Obama serious about creating some kind of domestic security force bigger and more expensive than that? If not, why did he say it? What did he mean?"

Does Forced Volunteerism Contribute To the 'Slave' Mentality?

Barack Obama gave a speech on July 2, 2008 on "A New Era of Service" where he said he would set a goal for students to perform a certain amount of "service" a year and that he would attach strings to educational monies to assure they did so.
Jonah Goldberg, writing an editorial for the LA Times has taken issue with Barack Obama's speech to which Obama said he would "set a goal for all American middle and high school students to perform 50 hours of service a year, and for all college students to perform 100 hours of service a year."

Obama went on to say he would attach strings to educational dollars to see to it those goals were met.

Under Duress?

Goldberg goes on to quote from the 13th amendment which says, "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime where of the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

The plans and the agenda are being implemented.Two-sides of the same coin?Of course.

Take the Republic back from these evil intentioned men and women. How many of them will claim complicity or silent consent under duress, fear of loss of life, coercion, manipulation? And then how many will claim plain ,unadulterated ignorance?

Not I!
